Family problems?

my husband just got dignosed with testicular cancer, but it came back benign thank God! The dr's still want to treat it as if it was cancer....which is fine. Can you believe his mother don't believe a word. I know how all you hate when people get on here and bad mouth people, but his mother is a 71 year old horrible _itch.....I wish I could pack up my husband and move far away.......anybody have any advice on how to deal with ignornant people?
