You're making it sound like the worst thing in the world to seek mental health help. A lot of people do. A lot of 'nomal' looking people see therapists for a variety of reasons and issues so don't worry about seeking help. Trained mental health workers, like a psychiatrist, can help you pinpoint what may be the matter. It's no big deal. Maybe it's bipolar disorder or social anxiety disorder or something else or nothing at all...but go. If you don't have insurance, there are a lot of low/sliding scale places. Good Luck.
