Why can't I get a job anywhere?

Try not to take it personally - sounds like you're doing everything right. Employers are getting soooo many applications for even just 1 opening, that competition is extremely fierce. Perhaps the other applicants have just a little bit of edge over you in terms of experience. My suggestion is to try out temp agencies. I know the sound of "temporary employment" makes some cringe right now, but it's better than no job. With temp agencies, you can get a little bit of experience in this area, and little bit in that area, and you can build up your resume. Just remember to be persistent with any employer (including the temp agencies). I read somewhere that an employer would never consider any applicant that just dropped off their application and never returned or called to do a follow-up...Good luck!!!
