18 month old unexplained seizures?

in october my daughter started having seizures and was taken in to hospital all in all shae had about 15 in one day the doctors done brain scans and lumber punctures but all results came bk clear they put her on a medication called Epantium but said that she did not have epilepsy since being on the medication she hasn't had anymore we got a follow up appointment soon where i think they are going to reduce the medication has anybody experienced this before and what was the outcome also she did not have a temp through any of the seizures thanks
