Here is the one golden rule about guys that you will thank me forever for letting you in on if youd don't already know. Guys always want what they can't have. It's true that whatever you chase in life runs away. Guys want to have to work for something because he feels like if he don't have to work for it then it must not be worthwhile. So you were most likely all ellusive before and then you ended up liking him because he was showing you all this affection and making you feel good about yourself. A lot of times a girl will be into a guy she never would have in the first place simply because he is showering her with attention and making her feel wanted (which happens to be what girls want the most). He makes you feel good about yourself when he's around and then you end up craving his company. So you probobly didn't really like him in the first place for who he was which should make it easy to get over him. When he suddenly turns it all off then you totally crave all the attention back which makes you want him soooo much more. Try giving loads of compliments to yourself and totally seeing yoursef as the lioness you are! Then you won't need outside affirmation so much. That little thing called modesty is just a pesky little afliction. What turns a guy on more than anything is a girl who is super confident who is totally not needing him. So be that girl. Treat him like you would treat a guy you're not intersted in and he will totally crave you. Run after him and act all insecure that he's not wanting you anymore and it will be a self fulfilling profecy. Have you noticed how that works? When you don't like a guy they totally want you and when you're head over heels for a guy they could care less. Now you're wondering how do I ever get into a relationship this way because I always have to show a guy I don't want him? Once you make him chase after you enough and really really have to go through a lot to finally get with you then you can slowly start coming around and giving him little hints that you like him. But just tiny little morsels at a time. It's kind of like your favorite food, if you're really starving it makes it sooooo much better but after you've eaten a whole meal your not thinking about it. And once you finally do get into a relationship with him you still need to have your own life and you can't be the clingy type. That is what will keep him intriqued because even though he has you, he knows he never really "has you". He WILL test this out to see how needy you are. He won't call you etc just to see how you react. Just act like you haven't noticed he hasn't called because time sure does fly when you are a hot little minx with so many things going on!

My lawnmower is smoking need help......?

Well my lawnmower is about 2 months old. It was cutting the front lawn just fine until i started in the backyard. Side of the motor started smoking. I saw it ran out of oil, so i put more. How are the California Wildfires effecting you?

As I type, the Poomacha Fire is starting to come down the north face of Palomar Mountain. There is a lot of rough terrain up there and I am sure the firefighters are having a very difficult time. Today, our area was very smoky making it impossible to see what was happening on the mountain. We are in Riverside County and the fire is still on the San Diego County side. Last I heard, Poomacha is 4 miles from the border. Last night it was eight miles. Our house is about 4 miles from the border. We are hanging tight. We have all important doents packed and loaded up along with 36 cans of dog food and 44 lbs of dry dog food. We have 4 wolfdogs that wiegh between 60 and 90 lbs.

Hard Drive Installation?

So I just got a 3.5 inch Hitachi 1 terabyte SATA hardrive. I plugged it in, made sure it was detected in the BIOS, made sure it was detected in the Device Manager, and then looked in My Computer. Its not there. All that shows up is my 80 gig. I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit. I looked at device manager again. My hitachi shows up so i figured everything was ok. I looked in properties and looked for the "format" and "initialize" but found none. Any help please? I need to get it to show up on My Computer!

Can I get by (in comfort) with high top hiking boots for winter and summer; long and short excursions?

OK i normally buy the Mocha flavored muscle milk. it tastes pretty good if left in fridge for a few days. What would you do if you were Superman?

The elephant can't hurt me so there's no problem with getting in close to it. The main problem is the civilians that it's endangering. I would fly over to Honolulu, use my super-hearing to pinpoint the elephants exact location, then pick it up and fly it over to some remote area with no other people and let it take out all of it's rage on me (since it can't hurt me). Then after some time it would eventually get tired (from all the tranquilizers and physical exertion). I would wait for it to finally go to sleep, then I would fly it back over to the authorities and let them decide what should be done with it (since Superman isn't exactly an expert on elephants...).

I've bought these Craghoppers Bear Grylls Survival Trousers from amazon. I came across fake hiking jackets on Ebay which got me worried about my purchases and so I decided to contact amazon to make sure nothing they've sold me is fake. They reured me that everything that is from amazon (not 3rd party sellers) is 100% geniune. At the same time I contacted Craghoppers to double check. Unfortunately they said the only clothing they can gaurantee not to be fake are those sold on their own site and from no other. Now the problem is that these trousers have really poor stitching, there is no original mark on the craghoppers logo & it says 'made in China' (counterfeiting capital) . Not finding the heart beat with doppler at 12 weeks...?

I went to the dr at 10 weeks and they tried finding the heat beat with the doppler...they couldnt find it so i started crying, lol (im a little hormonal). I told her that i wanted an ultrasound bc i had a missed miscarriage before and didnt find out the baby had ped away until 3 weeks later. She told me ok, and they found the heart beat with the u/s and said everything looked ok, except the placenta was covering my cervix but that would probably fix itself. So, she told me to come back in 2 weeks instead of 4 (im not really sure why) and so now i will be 12 weeks. If they cant find the heart beat with the doppler this time, then what? Do i ask for another u/s? I really want to make sure everything is ok, but i dont want her to get frustrated with me. Why wouldnt they be able to find it at 10 weeks, or even 12? Im just scared bc this is my 2 pregnancy and will be my first baby.

DSi Problem (Fatal Error)?

ok I have a dsi as you know it has v1.4.2 (I saw that is v1.4.3 out). The problem is, I start the DSi and ya know the health and safety screen, than I get the menu. When I click on ANY app: Camera, Sound, Settings, Games, 3DS transfer tool, I get error message which says: An error has occurred. Please press and hold the POWER on to turn the system off. Please refer to the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for details. I left my DSi untouched for 4 days and than I turned on. It worked, Dsi browser, games, Camera, everything. I went to get a game and meanwhile I turned off the DSi. When I turned on I got the error screen again. I left for one day, again untouched and than turned on, it worked. I tried to update it, it goes to the 4th bar and it shows some error (I dont remember which) and it shuts down. Can anyone help me? Cheers, David

How can I get over my fear of drugs/IV sedation?

Here's the deal. I'm supposed to get 3 wisdom teeth and my dentist recommended IV sedation and the truth is I'm TERRIFIED. Besides the fact it's a needle (bad enough) I'm scared of being knocked out/amnesia/doped up. I don't agree with drug use (although I would get freezing) and I've never been drunk/high so I'm really scared of what that sort of thing would feel like. I'm also really freaked out about what will happen when I'm out (I'm a totally control freak, busybody, hypochondriac, whatever you wanna call it). However, my parents are dead set against me getting just the local anesthetic (what I wanted). I don't feel comfortable talking to my dentist or an oral surgeon about it because I know they'll feel the same way ("You're acting irrationally", etc). I'm totally afraid of having a panic attack when they're about to give me the IV! I'm between a rock and a (very) hard place. What can I do??? Thank you!

18 month old unexplained seizures?

in october my daughter started having seizures and was taken in to hospital all in all shae had about 15 in one day the doctors done brain scans and lumber punctures but all results came bk clear they put her on a medication called Epantium but said that she did not have epilepsy since being on the medication she hasn't had anymore we got a follow up appointment soon where i think they are going to reduce the medication has anybody experienced this before and what was the outcome also she did not have a temp through any of the seizures thanks

1996 Mercury Sable trunk won't open, any suggestions?

Well my trunk doesn't open most of the time. It only opens at night when it is cool. I bought the car used a couple years ago for $7000.00 and didn't receive a key for the trunk so I only have the little device on my key ring. Why did I pee blood??

This morning i woke up and i went pee and it was a reddish brown color, I didn't feel any pain when ever it came out and i umed that it was blood. My c-section is scheduled for Thursday (YAY!). I've had two previous c-sections, the first was almost 9 years ago, and it was an emergency after a labor induction, and her father was too queasy to cut the cord. My second c-section was scheduled, but as soon as my son was born, the doc knew something was wrong, so he cut the cord, and immediately ped my son off to the pediatric team. Now, I am scheduled to have my third c-section, and so far, there are no indicators that anything will be wrong with me or my daughter, therefore, as long as everything is "normal", will my fiance have the opportunity to cut the cord?

Those symptoms you are experiencing are probably more than likely some side effects form your anti-depressants. I would talk to your doctor and see what he or she can do. Sometimes it takes switching around the doses, and even switching medications. As a geography major, I've done extensive research on alternative energy. I have a new idea called "rain power." I think we should instill rooftop generators incorporated into rainwater collection. Rain falls diagonally rather than straight. Therefore, the terminal velocity from the raindrops could spin these turbines and generate electricity. Murry rider wont start?

I have a millennium edition murry rider that just died . I used it last week went to crank it up yesterday it got to the end of the drive way and I had to lift up the front end and set the mower on its back so I could beat out the deck where I had hit a root the week before. What's going on with my boyfriend's foreskin?

My boyfriend experiences pain when trying to pull back his foreskin. I've read about Phimosis, but I am not sure this is it or not. The foreskin appears to go back (and forward), but it is painful to pull back and the head appears to be unusually red and irritated. So I think it's the head that's causing him the pain, and keeping the foreskin up prevents the pain for him. But I'm not sure, he just said pulling it back hurts. What is going on here? I am concerned for him, this is a part of the body that doesn't usually cause anyone any pain. Also, how can I talk about it with him without him feeling all sensitive about his manhood? Empty sac confusion?? Any similar experience?

I went to the doc with light spotting and cramping and was shocked to get a positive test..So she examined me and sent me to the hospital for a scan...Nothing showed up on the screen except an empty sac and the doctor did a inter vag scan..She just said "empty sac" and told me to come back in a week..Im going back friday morning..Im very nervous and dont know how to feel.She said the sac was 5 weeks. It was totally unplanned and it is my ex's baby (if i carry it).. The spotting stopped completely but I still have cramping, more like a sharp pain in the bottom left hand side of my abdomen all the time..That is where the sac showed up on the monitor..any ideas, words of advice..I am so confused..I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks in Feb. You're making it sound like the worst thing in the world to seek mental health help. A lot of people do. A lot of 'nomal' looking people see therapists for a variety of reasons and issues so don't worry about seeking help. Trained mental health workers, like a psychiatrist, can help you pinpoint what may be the matter. It's no big deal. Maybe it's bipolar disorder or social anxiety disorder or something else or nothing at all...but go. If you don't have insurance, there are a lot of low/sliding scale places. Good Luck.

My church has been pastorless for some time, and I love it. I have been so blessed by the ministry of the speakers we have brought in. We have way more members who participate in the services, and its the most loving church that I have ever attended. Recenly, the leadership has committed to hire a full time pastor and I fear that we are going this direction because of tradition and not because it is God's will for his church. I feel that God has laid something on my heart about this.. if we all come into our spiritual gifts the traditional church hierarchy isn't necessary, in fact because hierarchy is of flesh and not spirit this will actually hinder us from discovering the tasks that God has laid out for us to finish, I would like some comments on this..

Brandon, I don't care how long your question is. You are a human being, reaching out to others. Don't listen to any negative comments here for the first step. There are always going to be mean people out there. I feel for you and your confusion and pain. I just want you to know that you are a valuable and worthy person, despite of things that happened in your past and the fact that you had to turn to , just outlines how difficult things must have been. I think that therapy is wonderful - I've known many people who have come through horrific abuse, suicide attempts, and drugs after being in therapy. You are not destroyed. You just haven't found yourself yet. Your spirit and your strength of character have kept you alive and surviving which makes you an incredible inspiration! Finding the right therapist isn't easy though but I would recommend Cognitive Behavioral therapy. You can always find out if there is some kind of subsidy for people who can't afford therapy. If you are working in a place that has benefits, sometimes they will cover therapy. Others base it on your income. You could start by contacting your doctor and perhaps he/she could recommend a therapist who is reasonable. I wish you all the best. It's going to be a long journey, but you have come so far. Try not to take it personally - sounds like you're doing everything right. Employers are getting soooo many applications for even just 1 opening, that competition is extremely fierce. Perhaps the other applicants have just a little bit of edge over you in terms of experience. My suggestion is to try out temp agencies. I know the sound of "temporary employment" makes some cringe right now, but it's better than no job. With temp agencies, you can get a little bit of experience in this area, and little bit in that area, and you can build up your resume. Just remember to be persistent with any employer (including the temp agencies). I read somewhere that an employer would never consider any applicant that just dropped off their application and never returned or called to do a follow-up...Good luck!!!
